NATURAL REMEDY - Ayurvedic Scalp Treatment For Healthy Hair Growth

Healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp - and a healthy scalp can be achieved in several ways, one of them being the regular use of ayurvedic herbs.
Each of the herbs mentioned in our simple recipe below are renowned for their individual properties. Together they provide a soothing, cleansing and stimulating effect on hair follicles - helping maintain a nourished scalp that grows strong, healthy hair.
Base Ingredients
Amla Powder
Aloe Vera Powder
Brahmi Powder
Bhringraj Powder
Reetha Powder
Shikakai Powder
Instructions
Combine a teaspoon of each powder in a glass/plastic bowl. Add a small amount of distilled water and stir the mixture with a plastic spoon until you have a thick paste.
TIP 1: A runny paste will be difficult and messy to apply. It will also have a greater chance of finding its way into your eyes. Trust us - you do NOT want this paste getting into your eyes. You will feel the burn.
TIP 2: You can use freshly brewed green tea or any other herbal liquid of your choice instead of the distilled water.
Let the paste sit, covered for at least 30min. Meanwhile, shampoo your hair and dry off any excess liquid with a towel. Section your hair and apply the ayurvedic paste directly to your scalp until your whole head is covered.
TIP 3: You can perform this treatment as part of your normal deep conditioning process. To do this, apply your deep conditioner of choice (e.g. olive oil) to your hair strands after shampooing your hair. Afterwards, section your hair and apply the ayurvedic paste to your scalp.
Cover your head with a plastic cap and sit under a hooded dryer for at least 1 hour.
Rinse your hair thoroughly and let it air dry. Follow up with your usual styling process.
TIP 4: Once you've washed out the treatment, you can use fermented rice water as your final rinse.
