Africology Skincare Returns & Refunds Policy

RETURNS
We do hope that you will be pleased with your products.  If for any reason you would like to return an item for a refund, replacement or exchange please send it back to us unopened within 30 days of purchase.
 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.  Any products which are returned open will not qualify for a refund, exchange or replacement.
 
Please note that gift cards are exempt from being returned.
 
To complete your return, please fill in The Products Return Form (link to form).  You will be emailed a Return Merchandise Authorisation Number (RMA number).  The RMA number must be displayed on or included in the returned product's packaging.  No returns are accepted without this number.  Your items should be wrapped securely and sent with a note indicating whether you wish to have a refund, replacement or exchange and your contact details. You should then retain proof of postage. Once we have received your parcel we will be in contact to confirm the receipt of the returned goods and that your refund, replacement or exchange has been issued accordingly.
 
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
 
CANCELLATION RIGHTS
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the legal right to cancel your order within fourteen working days from the date of receipt of the goods.  You will need to send us a notice of cancellation in writing and return the goods to us in their original, unopened and unused condition within 14 days of cancellation.  You can submit your cancellation notice by email at hello@africology-uk.com.
 
Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.  If your order consists of multiple goods, the 14 days runs from when you get the last of the batch.  You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
 
This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or not described accurately.
 
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.
 
We will refund the basic delivery or enhanced service costs (e.g. guaranteed next day delivery) you paid to get the goods to you in the first place only if the goods being returned are faulty.
 
You are responsible for covering the cost of returning an item or items unless the goods being returned are faulty.
 
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
 
REPLACEMENTS AND EXCHANGES

GIFTS
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to them to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.
 
SHIPPING
To return your item, please mail it to: 18 Robert Close Walton-on-Thames Surrey United Kingdom KT12 5HA.
 
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the goods being returned are faulty. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
 
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
 
Umundu Ltd is only able to accept returns for items purchased over the www.africology-uk.com website or by orders placed by phone. For items purchased from a salon, retail store or another online store you will be required to contact the original place of purchase; as when you choose to buy through these outlets you are committing to their individual terms and conditions regarding refunds and returns.
